INFORM guarantees that our structural products are devoid of manufacturing defects for one year from the installation date by an approved installer. Please note, the warranty excludes regular wet applied paint and damages resulting from factors beyond INFORM's control, such as normal wear and tear, improper installation by external parties, fire, water or chemical action, separation of concrete slabs, or wall settling.
All pricing is based on F.O.B. Factory terms unless specified otherwise. Please be aware that prices can fluctuate due to the volatile nature of the steel market, fuel costs, engineering amendments, and city or fire compliance adjustments.
Estimated lead times are provided, excluding shipping and installation unless specifically noted. INFORM cannot be held liable for shipment delays stemming from unforeseen events beyond our control, including raw material shortages, paint, dies, tools unavailability, and adverse weather conditions.
Tasks will be carried out during standard working hours (Monday-Friday) in ambient temperatures, unless stated otherwise in the quotation. The work area must be clear of debris, with electrical power available within 100' of the site. Customers are responsible for providing necessary lift equipment, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, unless specified otherwise. INFORM will not honor back charges without a pre-approved change order. Change orders require INFORM's written consent before work commencement. Standby time is billed at $35 per man-hour, plus equipment costs, while materials are charged at cost plus 15%. Special inspections on anchors, concrete, etc., are not included unless otherwise specified.
INFORM does not accept returns for products damaged during transit. Buyers must seek recourse with the freight carrier. It is the buyer's duty to thoroughly inspect each shipment for damages or shortages. Should any discrepancies be found, ensure the freight carrier provides a written statement on the freight bill detailing the damages or shortages before accepting the shipment. In the event of damages or shortages, file a claim with the freight carrier to arrange for the goods' replacement or repair.
