INFORM guarantees that our structural products will be free from manufacturing defects for one year from the date of installation by an approved installer. Please note, this warranty does not extend to regular wet-applied paint, nor does it cover damage from conditions beyond INFORM's control, such as normal wear and tear, improper installations by other parties, fire, water exposure, chemical reactions, or structural issues like concrete slab separation or wall settling.
All pricing is based on F.O.B. Factory terms unless otherwise specified. Be aware that prices may fluctuate due to the dynamic nature of the steel market, as well as changes in fuel costs, engineering modifications, and city or fire regulation requirements.
Please note that our lead times are estimates and do not include shipping or installation unless specifically mentioned. INFORM cannot be held accountable for shipment delays arising from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as difficulties in obtaining raw materials, weather conditions, or issues with paint, dies, and tools.
All work is scheduled to be conducted during standard working hours, Monday through Friday, and in ambient temperatures unless otherwise quoted. The work area must be unobstructed and clear of debris, with electrical power available within 100 feet. Customers are responsible for providing lift equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts unless specified otherwise. INFORM will not accept back charges unless a change order has been issued and approved in writing. Stand time is billed at $35 per man hour plus equipment and materials costs, and special inspections on anchors, concrete, etc., are not included unless explicitly stated.
INFORM cannot accept returns for products damaged during transit, as the buyer must address such issues with the freight carrier. It is essential for buyers to thoroughly inspect each shipment for any damages or shortages. If issues are discovered, have the carrier document the damage or shortages on the freight bill before accepting the goods. Any damage or shortages identified should be claimed with the freight carrier to ensure replacement or repair of the affected goods.
